The Greene School

RGB provided site and master planning services for this new charter school to be located on the University of Rhode Island Alton Jones campus. The wooded location provides an ideal setting for experiential learning scenarios, which are the charter school’s focus. The program and design aim to bring together the site use and curriculum, blending naturally into the surrounding area and using sustainable design principles so that the facility itself is a learning tool.
The project also consisted of schematic design for a science center to be constructed as Phase I, along with an outline for continued facility development based on the site and master plan.
