Smithfield Senior Center

RGB was selected to provide the design and contract documents for an addition to the Town’s Senior Center. Based on a restrictive financial budget, the functional design for the addition compliments the existing 6,379 SF center. the new 5,091 SF, one story addition creates a convenient new entry from a new parking lot. The project design requirements demanded functional flexibility and the ability to create new financial venues for the center. The existing facility remained fully operational, with minimal interruption to the center programs, during construction. the $1.1 million addition included new offices, a large meeting space and handicap accessible facilities.
