Rhode Island Fire Training Academy

RGB was commissioned to design the new Rhode Island Fire Training Academy headquarters in two phases.
Phase I consisted of a 3,550 SF “burn” building with a training tower and other props to assist fire fighters in training. Phase I also included a 15,000 SF training pad and vehicle parking area, in addition to an apparatus storage building, The construction cost was $5.5 million.
Phase II included an 8,200 SF Fire Academy Headquarters and classroom/office building.
