Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency Emergency Operations Center and Headquarters Study

RGB and SCHRADERgroup previously conducted predesign services and a feasibility study for a new State-level Emergency Operations Center and Headquarters for RIEMA, the State’s coordinating agency for all emergencies. As well as housing RIEMA’s headquarters, the planned facility was to accommodate over 300 people from various agencies during an event.
The project included site evaluation and selection, programming, schematic design, FF&E and technology, LEED planning, scheduling, and cost estimating. The plan was in line with FEMA, DHS, and State and local requirements and will incorporate security design considerations.
