RGB recently completed construction documents and contractor bidding for new construction and renovations for LIUNA’s facilities in Hopkinton, MA and Pomfret, CT. The portfolio of projects across the two campuses includes new 22,450 SF headquarters building, new maintenance ‘DPW’ building, new training building, additions and renovations to dining and dormitories and administrative spaces such as a historic mansion. Across the two campuses, the total scope of work is approximately $30 million. RGB oversaw the CMaR bidding process and is engaged in construction administration.

The new $7 million AGC Education and Training Fund Headquarters building includes open office areas, private offices, café, class rooms and a two-story atrium from front to back with the glass facade provided to maximize views over the sloping entry to the LIUNA Hopkinton campus. The building was located in close vicinity to the Laborers New England Training Trust Fund. The facility comprises 19,500 square feet on two stories and includes a conference/training center, executive suite, and administrative offices. Building features included energy-efficient building systems and low-emitting materials. Vehicular parking was also addressed in the project.
