RI State Police Public Safety Complex
RGB has designed the new, 56,000 SF Rhode Island State Police Headquarters and RI E 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System Facility, to LEED Silver Certification. An added major component to the project is the inclusion of the RI E 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System new main headquarters. In addition to a press and conference center and holding and processing center.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, RGB created a detailed restoration plan which maximized the existing building space without destroying the historical, cultural or military significance of the site, or the exterior and interior features of the buildings.

This 14,000 SF modern building replaces two existing facilities that had become outdated and inadequate. The building program accommodates the specific needs of each group, while fostering a sense of camaraderie among the personnel.
Some shared amenities include camera surveillance throughout, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a kitchen area, accommodations to sleep 4 and secure storage space.

Allam, Former Executive Director Rhode Island Public Buildings Authority
RI Adult Correctional Institute
